At a figure skating performance, 1 over 3 of the skaters completed a triple jump. if 18 skaters performed, how?

pls help|||Dear Fallon Yount,

Please ask a grammatically correct question, with proper spelling. With both of those in place, people will be able to help you.

Edit: Okay so I take it that the question is to read,

"At a figure skating performance, 1 out of 3 of the skaters completed a triple jump. If only 18 skaters preform at the event, how many skaters did not completed a triple jump?"

A) you're in the wrong section, this question belongs in the homework help as it is clearly a math question,

B) its easy to find if you understand multiplication. ie check your times tables, you'll find your answer there. Or if you don't get that, get 18 pennies and divide it equally into 3 groups, and cause its fractions you should be able to figure it out from there.

Also We shouldn't be doing your work for you so I won't give you the answer.|||hey- so i agree that your question is worded iddly but...

1/3 of the skaters did tripples so out of 18 skaters only 6 skaters did triples and the rest, 12 skaters, did not do tripples

hope this helped!|||12 skaters did not complete a triple jump.

(2/3 of 18)|||1) this is math not ice skating

2) the answer is 12|||how what?
