How can i get farther on the triple jump?

i have to do that on my schools track meet . i qualified 3rd with a distance of 19 ft 7 in. i know i can get farther but what are some good tips to get farther than that. i wanna get either 1st ir 2nd place in that|||ok so I was in track once. first bend your knees and crouch down, start running in that postion but you can ease up a bit, then when you're ready to jump spring out and have one foot in the back of you and one in the front (kinda like a leap) but when you know you're going to land bring the back foot forward and land in the first postion crouch.

hope I helped.

Don't listen to the boso above me. he just wants points.|||okay im a long jumper but i know the basics of triple on of my frends in the two time state champ here in WA and gonin gfor her third state title on friday but what you need to do is build up muscles in both your legs so they can hold there own. You also need speed to build up momentum to jump farther. on your first jump you need swing your arms to get ready fro your next skip and get hieght on your jumps tooo.

And of coarse to have a succcdesful jump you need to have confidence good luck

ps my friend Brandi her best jump was 37 feet 6 inches|||Jump farther. Duh.
