i have the zoom rival s 4 fromm nike...but are they good for jumping events?|||Match the spikes to the surface, not the event. Ask again when you can describe the surface, even the location of your home field. Natural surfaces can vary a TON; you may want to send a picture of the surface and your location to local college track coach. Since they usually teach classes, you can find their e-mail address.|||I personally like to have my athletes have separate spikes for each event! But....that is a lot to ask. Spikes are not that cheap. What kind to get depends on the athlete. Some athletes like tight shoes, others like shoes that are loose fitting, some like higher arches.....etc.
Personally I like Adidas and Reebok for triple jump. A very complete shoe, with a good amount of protection. Other brands don't have as much protection.
Nike, Adidas, New balance have good long jump shoes! Good long jump shoes are easier to find than triple jump shoes.
There are general jump shoes also. Kind of a best of both worlds shoe. I know mizuno had some all round jumping shoes. You can check those out.
