im in Grade 9 on my high school track team and i jump 13 meters. but i need to improve my 2nd phase! how?|||one way to improve ur jump is to hav ur coach put like jumping bags in the pits and hav u jump over them, making them higher and higher, because the higher u jump, the further. And it helps to get ur legs up, which is what u want to do. Make sure ur wearing spikes and using tape, since it helps u get the right footing and a good run before u jump. Putting tape down and sterting from a spacific distance really helps. U should also do accelorations( practice runs of like 100m so u get a good run) and run throughs( running on the runway but not junping when u get to the pit to get ur footing rite) and stretching before u jump. Hope this helps. and make sure u ask ur coach for help! %26lt;3|||13 meters? im almost pos. that that is measured in feet because if you are jumping 13 meters...about 39 ft. you have set an amazing world record and you need absolutely NO help.
i know my jump is really bad and i jump 24 ft. girls at district track competitions jump almost 32 ft. and that is amazing.
it should be a hop skip and a jump correct?
and if you need help on your second phase... make sure that after your hop...you are really throwing your leg back to get that good long extended "skip" forward. im sure you have been taught to do this and you know that triple jump is hard to explain. your first hop should be full of exertion. its a tough thing to explain and something that you cant get better with overnight. you should see if your coach had an videos that might help you. and practice! practicing will help tremendously. good luck (:|||right when you start to jump, you need to take the biggest crap you possibly can
