I'm looking for excersizes that can help me to improve my distance on the triple jump because right now, I'm averaging around 32 feet and want to get that at least high enough to go to sections for this event. That'd be around 36 feet as per two year ago, but the only person I've ever known to be able to get that far graduated that year. Anyway, thanks for the help in advance and as usual, ten points for best answer. :)|||You can lift weights and do plyometrics to improve your strength and ability to jump.
You can work on your technique to improve your distance.
Most people make the mistake of going too far in the first phase which causes the second phase to be too short.
You can practice this not the runway or track or grass.
another problem is going too high in the first phase, if you go too high you will collapse when you land and can not transition into the second phase correctly.
You should be running off the landing, not landing, and then jumping.
You are 4 ft short so you should measure your phases so you will know what you are doing, and then work on getting the first and second close to the same distances.
