How can i improved the 2nd jump on triple jump?

Whenever i do it, it just seems like i dont go anywhere. do i reach also or what?|||Normally a short second phase is because the first phase is too long.

Try to control the first phase, it should be about 1/3 of your total jump.

Also do not go high in the air.

The higher you go the farther you fall before hitting the ground, and can collapse so you don't have any spring left for the next phase.

Use your arms, think about running off the landing rather than trying to land, collect yourself, and then jump again.|||First of all, don't jump so hard on your first jump. When I triple jump, I think of going far horizontally instead of vertically on the first jump. Also, you should jump weak, weak, strong so you can have your maximized jump for last. Don't worry much about the second jump, it's pretty tough to master, and you just need to put some muscle on your calf by weight training.|||Two words. Rocket shoes.
