What kind of weight lifting should i do to improve my long and triple jump distance?

triple

(38'10")

long

(18'2")|||I agree with the answer already given, BUT

some examples of good exercises for powerful legs:

Squats - Medium weight. once form is good, find some bands, and use them. FULL range of motion.

Leg curls - lighter weight, but explode up back to your starting position. Slooooow on the way down.

Calves - Mix of jumprope/footfires, and medium-to-heavy calf raises.

Abs are also going to be very important to you (roman chairs, decline crunches), but explosive power is key, so get those legs trained!|||You should do a total body routine along with plyometrics.

You don't just jump with your legs it takes your entire body.
