How do you improve on triple jump?

Hi, i have an athletics competition tomorrow and i was wondering how i could improve my jump. Im hoping to get my jump up to 9 metres at the moment my best is unfortunaly 8.21M could anyone help|||Most people jump too far and too high in the first phase which causes a too short second phase.

You want to try to get all three phases about the same distance.

Remember that you are running off the first landing into your second phase, it is not a land, and then jump motion.

Practice controlling your body so you keep your speed and momentum.

Set out some markers and go 3 meters on the first, then 3 meters on the second, then as far as possible on the third and final phase.|||For tomorrow? Visualize your jump. Repeat it in your head a million times. Get rest before the meet. Wake up 4 hours before you jump. Watch youtube videos of others jumping the right before you go to bed the day before, this way you dream about jumping. When you are going to jump, clear your mind and let your body do the work. Don't force it just let it happen.

Good Luck|||train your leg muscles, quadriceps and your lower leg muscle, rope jumping helps but cycling does make the muscle stronger on the other hand
